Author(s)Khasbulatova, Olga A.; Egorova, Larisa S.
AbstractAn intercollegiate monitoring survey of the population’s sense of social well-being, of women and men, was conducted in the mid-sized cities of Russia. Analysis of the empirical data obtained in the course of the monitoring reveals that the process of adaptation to the new social and economic conditions is not preceding smoothly; it is distinguished by instability and demands attention on the part of bodies of authority and administration.
