AbstractThe effectiveness of applying rational choice theory to explain human behavior is discussed. The authors, maintaining rational choice analysis is concerned with wealth and power, argues rational choice analysis cannot be used to explain human behavior because systematic account cannot be taken of expressions of the reasonable.
